American Red Cross, Key Chapter
Provides relief to families of major and local disasters,aid to military, and health and safety courses.
Boy Scouts, Choctaw Area Council
Prepares youth to make ethical choices over their lifetime and achieve their full potential.
Boys and Girls Club
A structured after-school and summer program for boys and girls ages 5-18.
Provides a 24-hour crisis line and shelter for domestic violence victims and their children.
Community of Hope Tutoring
High school students work after school as tutors for at-risk elementary children.
Foster Grandparent Program
Fosters the unique talents of senior citizens as mentors for abused, neglected, and mentally challenged youth.
Provides psychological services, case management and meals to adult homeless, mentally ill, and substance abusers.
Girl Scouts, Gulf Pines Council
Inspires girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service, that they may become happy and resourceful citizens.
Hope Village for Children
Group foster home for abandoned, neglected, and abused children ages birth to 18.
L.O.V.E.’s Kitchen (Lauderdale Outreach Volunteer Effort)
The purpose of L.O.V.E.’s Kitchen is to feed the hungry of Meridian and Lauderdale County.
Meals on Wheels Program
Ensures at least one hot meal per day, five days per week, for homebound elderly residents in the Meridian area.
RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program)
Assigns senior-citizen volunteers to fill needs at other agencies.
Provides food, clothing, lodging, and other needs as emergency situations or disasters arise.
South Harbor Shelter
Addresses the needs of homeless and potentially homeless persons by aiding in securing and maintaining transitional to permanent housing.
Supply Our Students
Provides school supplies for Meridian & Lauderdale County Public School Elementary students.
Wesley House Community Center
Helps people help themselves through multi-level education, child advocacy services, sexual assault programs,
homicide survivor programs, relief services, and community center activities.
