INCOME TAX PREPARATION TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

The United Way of East Mississippi through its Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is offering a free training session to certify individuals as IRS tax preparers.  The training will be conducted at the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Office located at 721 Front Street Ext. Suite 760, Meridian, MS 39301, on September 14-15, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  This training session is provided free of charge in exchange for individuals volunteering a few hours of service during the tax preparation season.  Meals and snacks will be provided.  Only 25 training slots are available and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  Please call 601-482-0512 to reserve a space.
