 United
Way of East Mississippi & West Alabama recently announced
its goal of $900,000 "Survivor Style" at a Luau at Waikiki
Beach (Bonita Lakes Park). Campaign Director Janie
Brown and Campaign Chairman Gary Wilkinson unveiled
the goal after arriving by boat from an uncharted pacific
isle. |
 "This
is certainly an ambitious goal," Wilkinson said, "but one
that is achievable. It's important for not only our
partner agencies, but also our community."
Contributions to the United Way stay in the community and go
to help solve local issues. "It's all about neighbors
helping neighbors," Wilkinson said. |
