Thanks to a grant from Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Phase
1 of the renovations for the United Way office located at 2003 23rd
Avenue in Meridian in nearing completion! This grant acknowledges
the home place of Dr. Jeff Anderson and is on the National Registry
of Historic Places. The house was constructed in the late 1920's and
was used continuously as a residence for 70 years. Many original
fixtures of the house still exist, such as the signature green clay
tile roof, cooper gutters and stone masonry. Tim Allred, President
of Heritage Construction in Meridian, supervised Phase 1
renovations. Phase 2 will consist of renovations to the interior of
the house and are expected to begin in the very near future.
